Giz you've had an offer to return the machineWhen the torch switch is in, you can adjust the higher Amperage, since my torch has no POT on it. one of the pins into the machine must isolate the panel when the pedals plugged in...Maybe a case of removing that pin...
The pedal will be a bit more too. But very smooth, and no pot on it.Thermal arc 202 AC/DC
Essentially the same machine as the parweld but you won't have this problem. You will need to unplug the pedal before it lets you adjust like mine but you can set it.
It's a bit more money though. Not loads more but it's more.
You don't need to unplug yours then I guess. The pedal will be a bit more too. But very smooth, and no pot on it.
My older thermal arc isnt like this, plug in pedal adjust max current etc at you leisure from the knob.
So you need to unplug the pedal to change the max amps? That also sounds like a pita.Thermal arc 202 AC/DC

According to the guy i spoke too, this is no longer the case. The Pedal can remain plugged in at all times and still retain full function of the control panel.
Go and test to make sure.According to the guy i spoke too, this is no longer the case. The Pedal can remain plugged in at all times and still retain full function of the control panel.
Not really. It's a little inconvenient but doesn't really bother me.So you need to unplug the pedal to change the max amps? That also sounds like a pita.
