The North Korean leader-Kim Jong Un, never fails to demonstrate just how bizarre his regime is.
I suppose it would mean that death was quite swift? But, I feel sure that knowing the specific nature of one’s fate would only serve to increase the level of fear.

If it’s any consolation I would say that at least they are not torturing the victims first (as far as we know).

I am always suspicious of bizarre news regarding North Korea, it's certainly not a country that supports human rights and I am sure some of the horror is true, I am also sure some of it is manufactured for political reasons.

This goes back to the Korean War and yes they are pretty insane. Used to watch prisoners taken in that conflict, work out who the leader types were (not necessarily the officers of rank) and just chop their heads off in front of the rest! Any who have heard the stories of the lucky few who manage to escape the regime will confirm.
Just the fact that a national leader can sanction an execution of a senior figure in his command tells a story but to do it with such a weapon in this way only shows us the risk of nukes in the wrong hands.
I am sure our leaders make a lot up indeed we know they do but I aint going to get executed for saying that and lets face it "you just couldn't make some of this crazy stuff up" .

I seem to remember back in the late 70's? a BBC series about the history of the British empire & they actually showed an edited film clip from the North west frontier of such an execution, it was an 18 pounder muzzleloading cannon & the victim was strapped to a set of goalposts with arms & legs in star fashion about 6ft from the muzzle. Dont suppose there would be much left.

You only need to look at our own front pages for manufactured and designed to manipulate news, if they do it to us I am sure they do it to the North Koreans.
