zinga on high impact areas?

im cleaning up a bumper bar from the rear of my car , nothing fancy or overly important just for own satisfaction

will be manually cleaned - grinders/wire wheel /citric bath

now i have jotun and zinga on the shelf along with 2k topcoats , i havent used alot of zinga but read it chips off easy ? this part is in the back of a wheel arch and peppered with salt and mud etc - its a mud trap basically

so...

jotun ?

what do we think ? wont be buying any other special products

I wouldn’t put anything under jotun.

My recomendation would be a few coats of jotun 87/90 and then depending on what colour you want but jotun hardtop xp is a good option. Or instead of the hardtop some upol 2k raptor liner.

But if you don’t want to buy anything and you have the jotun, then just jotun and the 2k topcoat. Topcoat may chip but jotun should take a bit of punishment. Also then you can see the primer under the chips and touch up the topcoat.

I wouldn’t over think it. But jotun always goes direct on well prepped steal. (Not wire wheeled, ideally shotblasted. But 120/180 on a da is also fine)
