I bought an inexpensive dial gauge and magnetic base (about £30 IIRC) some time ago, and using it the other day it baffled me.
I recall using dial gauges before and you set them up, then rotated the outer bezel, which also rotated the dial face in order to zero it.
On the gauge I have, the bezel rotates independently, and there seems no way to move the dial face.
Am I going crazy?
