Yeti 2.0 tdi battery change.(2016, 4x4 )

Due to lack of use I allowed the battery to flatten and as It is 8 years old and Chrissy is approaching I gave it an early present . Installed the new one of correct type ,having trickle charged it first , but now faced with the Wiltshire version of Blackpool illuminations on the dashboard display. It starts instantly and has normal acceleration to 25 mph when it goes into Limp Mode. The car has run perfectly up to this point . The warning lights seem to illuminate randomly at present. Other than setting light to it and claiming the insurance does anyone have any ideas please ?

I have ideas but maybe won't fix your Yeti.

I have a Yeti, petrol, the first thing you should be doing, if you haven't, is join the Yeti site, a wealth of knowledge.

Some Battery changes required it to be coded in.

The next thing you should do is buy a Carista OBD2 Scanner and App, specifically for VW and the Yeti, the amount of information it can find and allows you to alter and clear faults.

Depending where you purchase, you can get Carista at a discount or pay full wack.

You get 30 days of App, no charge, ( or did ), with a purchase, its subscription based but you can PAYG should you wish, don't forget to cancel subscription on first sign up with app.

If your Yeti was ok before battery change, the illuminations are likely to be caused by it, head over to the Yeti Forums, like this Site they are a knowledgeable community.
