Hi folks.
After finishing welding my Daimler and got her back on the road, I was tending to my XJ-S HE (ie 5.3 V12 engine) with loads of waxoyl treatment when I discovered a defect in the OS sill front end.
This was convenient for a short while as I inserted my injection probe into the hole to squirt about 1lt of waxoyl into the sill box section. I bodged a tempoary patch over the hole to get myself ready for a weld repair later on. I wonder what horrors lie underneath?
There're also some rust scabs coming from under the paint, which I plan to cut away and then weld fresh metal in place.
Shall keep you posted
