Wrinkly Tractol paint?

Need your help again! - I put a first coat on a week ago, and tried to put a second coat on today. Within a few minutes it's gone all wrinkly. Same paint.

Why?

what thinners are you using on it thats had the reaction should be using xylene thinners on it

Just using xylene thinners

could be the type of undercoat or primer then ive had that before

Its a second coat of the same paint so effectively its arguing with itself!

Too cold and the first coat has only skinned not fully hardened, thinner from the second coat has softened the first coat.

Edit: Just seen it was a week between coats which would have been ok in summer but not now.

Tractol can be fussy regarding thinners so I only use the recommended stuff. Standard celly thinners can make the paint go lumpy but I've never seen it cause a wrinkly finish.
