Look out for beginings of cracks at the red lines.
The lower bolster bit deflects somewhat, even when only doing something like a 14 through 10.
The original geka part was just the yelow outlined bit, the modified one, i think the drawing came from Geka, has the 2 ribs underneath (purple)
They dont help much to be honest.
The original die holder lasted 3 years or so, the second one has been 6months or so, so far.
It could come out a lot further, but you would loose the facility to punch angles.
Thank you Hitch, that helps me greatly. Seen one today with the bolster block fully welded into the machine. Numerous welds around the machines and cracks evident. £4K!!! Walked away from that one as well.
