the old weldcraft co axial gas cooled! stuff was good quality ,they would stand up to regular over amping ! when i started doing pipe we only had gas cooled union carbide gear with fixed bakelite type angled heads we would carefully cut around the bakelite so that the head could be bent to nearer 90 degrees for freehanding butts on pipe racks no room to walk the torch , then we got the 26f heads what a difference
sometimes you landed in a shop with a big bakelite boc 350 amp water cooled one was like using a 3lb hammer to weld brewery type stainless
the ck flex loc are ok if you use the head to do the final tightening and not the stud ive watched a few numpties with pliers absolutely trashing the stud
Beware the torch with welding cable and seperate gas hose the copper connection gets hot melts the gas hose and can wreak carnage if not noticed
