The problem with this is what filler to use, if you use nickel rods it will leave a hard spot on the disk that could result in brake judder.

In 2000 I was in India, brake pipe on the Tata Sumo had a pin hole leak. Told the guy to clean it up, nope. He put a blob of weld over the oily hole, took pipe back to car. First time he hit the peddle it was leaking again
