Kingspan seconds and metal studding. Good insulation and reasonably robust. Bonus for being able to sell it on when you're done with it.
I need to partition off a part of the workshop, a workshop inside a workshop if you like, will only be temporary but for an unknown length of time.
Needs to be insulated as well as it's an uninsulated brick building with a metal roof and it's ruddy cold in the winter and I need to keep it at or above 20c
@grim_d What things are you attaching to it?
What is it gonna be used for?
whats your roof ? is it metal drips like hell or insulated metal roof as you dont say keeping it at 20c in cold weather its going to drip like hell as mine did if its just a metal roof
Just put a few rows of noggins in to suit the heights you want to fixIdeally I want to be putting french cleat rails up but I can tie them into the studs.
Maybe a couple of cupboard units.
Woodwork. I want to keep workshop dust out and sanding dust in.
Even with extraction it gets everywhere.
It is metal, it does drip a bit in winter but it's not too bad, I'll be putting a ceiling up as I only want to keep the area warm, not the whole workshop.
It has bare brick walls and open eaves so there is not much warm air to condense.![]()
