Hi,
Any builders or someone who has built or extended a workshop that could give me a guide price per m2?
I'd like to extend my workshop, hopefully next year if funds allow. My current workshop is an L shape and what I'd like to do is knock down two walls and extend it about 9m out the back and 3m to the side, At a guesstimate I reckon I'd be increasing the floor area by 50 to 60m2 on the ground floor and also create a second floor on the section being extended. Another guesstimate I reckon the second floor would be about 90m2.
The second floor I'd like to kit out with a kitchen, sitting area, toilet and shower at one end and storage at the other. Ground floor just a large area so I can fit a couple of cars etc.
The workshop is in the middle of the city so would have to be built accordingly and as it's in a good area I'd like to have the option if required to either sell it as a workshop or possibly convert to a residential property.
Realise this is a bit of an ask but any experienced guys out there that could advise a cost estimate per m2?
