I k ow this has been covered before but just wondered what everyone has for boots current pair of dewalts have last 2 months!! And this is a replacement pair for ones lasting a similar time.

seen these anyone had them before? I did have some site boots from screwfix which were excellent but can’t recall which ones they were!

YDS for me. Most comfortable boots I've ever owned and last a long time.

Dont get Helly Hansen Magni! They are really lightweight, tick all the boxes etc etc but I chewed one pair in a couple of months, the last pair in a week. Managed refunds on both of them but at £160 I'd expect better. Englebert is usually good but no experience of their boots

I'm quite picky about things, and kind of miffed at a pair of safety boots my Wife brought home for me from Lidl. They turned out to be one of the most comfortable long waring boots I've had, so when they became available again I got a spare pair. Price was something like £12.99 if I remember correctly. The old pair I wear almost daily have lasted a year so far and still have a lot of life left in them.

The problem with some brands is they do many different types and it's easy to assume they are all the same. Dewalt certainly falls into that category. I wear Dewalt Titaniums, comfortable from the minute you put a new pair on, I bought a second pair and put them in cupboard ready for when the first pair died.

i use englebert hikers they are brilliant must be coming up two years now

Many farmers I know swear by Redbacks, cow muck/slurry doesn't do boots any good but they seem to last.

I’m really hard on boots I was going through some very expensive heavy duty options in under 6 months, until I came across Oliver safety boots. Bought a pair about 13 month ago and still going stron, getting tired but still ok, Ile probably replace them for the winter in the next couple of months.

I get issued Haix boots. Comfortable enough that I bought my own.

Yep, Haix are the military standard in many western/eastern European army forces... really well made and comfortable as well !

Not the British army,the MOD has or never will fork out loads of dosh for tommy to march to war

Thanks for the heads up on the haix boots Not heard of them before will have a look to see which is best. Looked for the Oliver brand but can’t see much availability over here one store is selling them looks like they are building a UK site for them.

We have Cofra boots at work, very comfortable and no-break-in, but they only last 8-12 months (and I'm office-based!).

Had some of those Lidl boots too, after replacing the insoles they were great boots for a couple of years part-time in my own workshop.
Have some fancy expensive ones now, I wish i could remember the make, but they have been a real disappointment - still not truly broke in yet after 6 months part-time, I'm wearing them out of spite because I paid around £100 for them!
I also change the insoles on all my boots for decent ones, I have Cobalt insoles atm and they're the comfiest boots/shoes/whatever that I've ever had, full stop.

I'd rather pay £50 for insoles and re-use them on throwaway boots.
