Wood worried advice needed

A relative of mine is about to retire and wants to start worrying wood in a lathe.
Are there any wood turning forums as friendly as this one?

dont know about any others......the above have plenty of advice and experience......
the wood haven took off because there were a few bitchy people on the other site, but I'm sure they been got rid of now....
U have to make ur own mind up but I look at both every day and find them informative and a lot of fun....
I have a semi pro Poolewood vari speed and a Wadkin RS 3phase with a 240v converter also with vari speed...
