Wolf power tools

Wolf are back, and they're Indian owned. Anyone know if they're any good? I used to have a big wolf drill and it was great. I like the look of those metal bodied green tools they've got for sale, and the little bench grinder.

its all down to price quality and spares wolf were taken over by kango . kango was taken over by Milwaukie . jcb make powertools now but bares no resemblance to the digger its just a name

Still got my dad's Wolf Cub drill and accessories which my mum bought in the fifties. The kit forms a drill stand which doubles as a lathe bed and a circular saw frame. I did once turn a small bowl on the lathe.... The speed was a little high though. And I recall dad using the circular saw to cut thin laths from pine plank to secure polythene glazing on a greenhouse. And there's a small grinding wheel too.

There's a Wolf drill and stand round at the bike shop and it is frightening. It will spin a 6' piece of 50x5 box, if the bit snags you have to let go and get out of the way sharpish.
