Hi,

I've read some two year old post on this mig welder but it's 50/50, so i'm just going to ask myself. What do people think of this welder as I don't have a big budget. So what we thinking?

I have owned one and would suggest you look at other makes, it was a difficult welder to use, poor inconsistent wire feed and poor build quality with a cooling fan that sounded like it had square bar bearings.

For a hobby MIG I think Clarke are about as good as you can get, without getting into serious money.

Thanks for the reply! after HOURS AND HOURS of searching, I've managed to find get a Clarke 130en Mig welder, and a mask (didn't need the mask, just came with it) for £110 off ebay! I've just got/had to buy the regulator,gas,wire an new size tips (0.8mm) as it had 0.9mm fluxed wire already installed, but all that extra is through choice just because i prefer argon/co2 gas welding over non-gas! I'm happy as pig in Sh*t atm!
