I’ve tried all i know but cannot seem to stop a new grinding wheel from vibrating..
It’s the lateral movement side to side as the wheel spins that’s giving most of the vibration .. I’ve checked run out on the grinder shaft that’s ok i’ve diamond dressed the wheel which improved the overall roundness but it’s the buckled wheel lateral movement that i’m struggling to improve.. Mine is a 1/2 inch shaft, i’ve cut cardboard washers no real improvement, it’s the side to side wobble that’s killing it.. i got another new disc different brand and it’s very similar.. I’ve turned the ( repositioned) wheel like it’s on a clock face like every 5 minutes before retightening the nut again with only minimal improvement..
Any ideas guys?
