Can you replace the wire liner on the SIP 105 without replacing the whole cord and torch? If so then I think the plastic or teflon (better) wire liners are a fairly standard size, and it should be possible to transfer the end connectors over from your own welder.
thanks for that malcom , i'll pick one up tomorow , but i think i've found the cause of the wire sticking it seems to have been the tip , i changed it over and its now running freely
The tip is often the problem with sticking. It's a pain especially on aluminium wire (where the wire expands and gets stuck) or with 0.6mm steel wire (again not enough clearance for wire expansion it seems) or with welding for a long time all at once (the tip gets a bit hot, expands and grips the wire).
well i picked up one of the steel liners from machine mart and it fitted no problem , just needed sniped to legnth , but i need to strip the handle down again as the gas is coming out constantly buggers
