wire liner

hi all,my clarke 100e is in need of a new wire feed liner,am i best sticking with plastic or is a steel one that much better??
keep toying with trying aluminium welding so is one better than the other,thanks in advance

For ally you'll need a teflon liner, available from machine mart. I't use a Steel liner over a Plastic one any day

If you use a Teflon liner with steel wire it will wear out very quickly
