I had a 250 amp mig set built for me around 12 - 15 years ago and yesterday the the wire feed motor packed in. I haven't had a look at it properly yet so not 100% certain it needs replacing but I am preparing for the worst case scenario. Now the guy that built it used to have a shop in Salford but it disappeared a few years ago and I am wondering if this is a generic part or am I going to have problems identifying a replacement. I have seen this on ebay which doesn't look too disimilar but is a bit more than I would like to spend on what is essentially an unbranded 15 year old mig set that only comes out several times a year as it isn't my preferred 1st choice unless I am welding sheet metal.
