You can buy a hydraulic crimp tool for £20 on ebay that will do the job and you can buy a nicer quality one for about £50
I made a couple of bit using 3-4mm SS wire and copper crimps. One was through a hole in the body of my chainsaw spanner and it has a clip on the other end that fits my fuel can. Works a treat and has been very durable. The other is a piece for support brake calipers when doing suspension work.
