Wipac magneto help

I bought my son a Norton Villers stationary engine in the summer, he is hoping to get it running over the holidays but as we have no spark I am trying to get the magneto fly wheel thingy off, it has 3 threaded holes any idea what thread they would be? Its about 100cc with the integrated fuel tank.
Oh looking for a starter and an undented tank if any one has one?

the threads are prob 5/16 or 3/8 whit.........just the same as UNC.........assuming they are course ???? if they look fine it'll be BSF.......
question, is there a thread in the flywheel center ? sometimes there's a need for a special puller.......basically a threaded tube with a bolt up the center......
when u say starter, ????? electric or a handle........?
any chance of a photo of the engine and the flywheel center please........

Mr @winchman , I acquired half a bucket full of viliers odds n sods among a load of other tosh a few years ago. I cant be bothered to identify what there is but if its any use to you or anyone else that messes with this stuff you are more than welcome to it for just the P+P.

Its not the normal threaded puller like on the Honda 50's etc.
I have a big washer with three holes in it and a nut welded to it so if I have measured right I just need to get three bolts, I turned down a free box of assorted whit a couple of weeks ago!
I need a pull starter for it, he is hoping to make it drive something and exhibit at a show in may!

Just a note for referance. But if you have a problem with lack of spark, after doing all the rest like points etc. There is a site for Seagull outboard engines, called Saving Old Seagulls. They say to pull the plug, put a bit of oïl in the bore and spin the engine with a battery drill. After a while, the spark re-appears at the plug. It worked for mine. Someone posted the tech reason for it, as the site owner didn't understand why.

I bought an old Allen cyth, with a Villars 2T in bits, not got round to it yet, but I might convert to coil with a battery. Good mod for many old engines, just not authentic. The previous owner had bought all the fresh leky bits, but I remember one we had before in the 70s and it was a pig to start. I also have a Honda engine that I could fit, but would be in fear of a lynching by the purists

Obviously they used the ex colonies as a dumping ground for sub standard production You are right to hide behind the sofa (DHS?) Did you do that for early Doc Who?

I second the request for a photo , but one of the complete engine please - so that specific information and perhaps a scanned manual may be posted.

I'd not heard of a D07 before, a bit of research shows it's also known as a 507H 75CC lightweight engine.

As for something to drive with it, what about a car alternator powering a few lamps?

I had a similar engine made by bsa. Sold it off as i have too may projects as it is.

Flywheel sits on a taper with a key. Pull using the screw holes provided but it may only need the points cleaning up and setting through the window .
Cant be 100% sure from the pics supplied but I believe that the links supplied by Robstar5 actually apply to a different engine. Example, unkeyed flywheel with a centre pull extractor nut.
The good news is that with your keyed flywheel you don't have to retime the ignition if you have to remove it.

Think that this is the one that you need. Look at the last image to see the "three hole Flywheel". Villiers 65cc lightweight.
