Winter storage.

I've not been on for ages, so, HI!
I've moved house, and now my garage isn't part of the house, and is just an old steel box with asbestos roof with lots of gaps. I've sealed all the holes in the roof, but it still seems to get quite damp inside when it rains, so I'm wondering, would it be a good/safe idea to spray the welder with acf 50, inside and out (even all the electricky bits), to give it a chance of survival over winter? Or, as I don't use it much at the moment, bring it in the house and hide it somewhere? Heating the garage isn't an option unfortunately, as that would cost far too much to be sensible.

Bring it inside - keep it safe from theives at the same time.

Before I demolished and rebuilt, I had a very similar garage, was a prefab concrete with asbestos roof.. actually a cement product but same effect.

I spent ages sealing around the edges in an attempt to keep it dry, a waste of time, everything was damp constantly, I then removed a lot of the stuff I had pushed into the gaps and it was certainly a lot drier, it needed that air to come in and circulate, still not a nice place to work in winter and I would agree not to leave the welder in there, the car however did dry off instead of stewing all night soaked.

You start entering the complicated world of moisture, temperature, condensation and ventilation and the variants that cause it and can resolve it.
