Self tapper.I replaced a broken handle on a mates bedroom window today but the top screw would not tighten up, the threads are gone basicly in the metal plate that hold the handle on. The bottom one is fine. So I need a easy fix as I aint taking the window apart to repair it unless I really have to. I did think a pop rivet may do the job.
no its different, it has a lever that throws over and 2 pins one at the top corner and another at the bottom corner. very old windows by the look of themwhat you have inside is the lock mech
and you see where your screws go
