Window glass screening

Got an upstairs house room window that I want to stop as much as poss visibility (looking through from outside), but I need as much light as poss coming in.
Would want it as natural as poss, not really mirror look from outside, not a big window approx 1200mm x 1800mm, one opener one fixed.

Any recommendations for a good film type ?

I have two vertical slash blinds (white) and they work very well.

I don't know what it's called but my parents have some stick on film for some of their windows, looks a bit like tracing paper...

lets a lot of light in but no visibility

they put it on some windows to stop the dogs getting excited barking at the birds/squirrels in the garden

Should have said, although I want block from outside, I'm still a nosey bastard and want view through.

I had that kind of thing on my classroom windows when I was teaching. It works well. Slight tint when looking out but still good visibility. Tends to lift at the corners after a while but not really a problem. Should be just the job for maintaining your privacy whilst allowing you to keep an eye on the neighbours.
