Hey guys I'm 18 and about to graduate high school, but earlier this year I had an accident and now I have no hearing in my right year for the rest of my life. And I am honestly wondering, do I have a chance in the welding world?
I can't think of a single reason or occasion where perfect hearing would make you a better welder
Good luck.

but I would have thought you would be fine in most applications.
I know my 3 are/were, say anything to them, all ya get is EH!! You try about 5 times then they take out the ear pieces
and say WHAT!!!
I was listening, YEH to the phone or music!! more like.
I can..I used to go to the workshop to escape nagging...more practice..better welder![]()

,but often workshops are too noisy to hear properly ,You do still have some hearing in the left ear?......you will be fine and good luck
Your company ill save money one earplugs at least!
