Will an oscillating tool cut a weld

I bought a Wolf one, works great on wood & plastic but blades didnt last with metal, think they were for "soft" metals. Rusty screwnails on my gutters must have been hard Bought a set of replacements but they dont fit. Struggling to find blades for mid steel.....

You can grind an edge on blunt, serrated, multitool blades to make scrapers/chisels.

The Dewalt has the best blade attachment in my opinion, pull the trigger and swap. Can't be doing with all this unscrewing/taking parts off.

Makita ones have a quick change lever.

It’s the only thing I haven’t replaced since migrating to Milwaukee. The dewalt one was really good mechanism. The Milwaukee one is fiddly and crap. Hoping there will be an improvement for gen 2

Makita ones have a quick change lever.

They do both types. Screw & quick fitting.

Oddly enough the cheapo Ferrex 20V one has a really good quick release. Only bought the tool in their bargain bin for £7.95. Then killed it experimenting with 18V Makita batteries. I promised it to someone on here as spares for theirs. Can't remember who!

The Fakita 18V one is quite good too.
