Wicksteed medium duty info?

Has anybody any idea what hydraulic oil I should use in the wicksteed medium duty 8” powered hacksaw please
Also has anyone got a manual I could buy thanks jk

Where does the hydraulic oil go? If it is just in the damper that regulates the downfeed, it does not matter too much. You adjust the downfeed to suit what you are cutting and part of that adjustment process can be to put a heavier or lighter weight oil into the damper. Try the cheapest oil you have on hand, so long as you know the viscosity, and then make thinner or thicker depending on how it performs.
