just to let you know wickes are selling their cutting discs with upto 55% off
i have just bought a pack of 5 0.8mm cutting discs for £4.99 instead of £11.99

Same here! Kilngspor are the business, they last ages, cut cleanly and never break.

Yeh i've used wickes cutting discs ,to be honest their not the best ,they tend to disintegrate

I expect Langy's price is a trade price, which makes it unrealistic for those of us who are hobby users.

I last stocked up using RightLines, the quality is good and the cost /100 isn't bad either.

I last stocked up a good few years ago, so there could well be better deals around now.

would they really be a wast though, i buy in bulk when it works out cheap, and im just diy user, but i think if i dont use most of something it do not matter as they will be there for years . so i wont have to have the money and run around every time i want to do something

My thoughts exactly. I last bought grinding/cutting disks about 3 years ago, what I've got in stock doesn't degrade and it's sat there ready and waiting.

Interesting, i've not had any issues with 3 year old discs. I'll check them next time I'm in the workshop.

I second this- have tried "cheaper" discs and the Kligspor are by far the best. And actually cheaper than the mass market alternatives.

Moisture quickly kills the discs.

Also, theres a big difference between 0.8mm and 1.0mm I've found. although only 0.2mm they seem to be a lot thinner.
