Could you get away with UNC
They are the same tpiJohn, its four studs that thread into an aluminium hub to hold on the sprocket, to me it appears to be a borderline design and so i would rather go with the bsw ones to give it as much strength as i can.
They are the same tpi
I need a 7/16" bsw thread insert kit for the rear hub of the bike. The prices i have seen so far online are scandalous, there must be someone doing them for a more reasonable cost. I only need four.

Yes but different thread angle 60 vs 55
But if you are going to helicoil them anyway in matters not a jot what the original thread angle is since you are going to drill it out, UN helicoil kits will be far cheaper.
Also a helicoil in aluminium is far stronger than aluminium threads alone.
Unless the fasteners themselves are so specialised they cannot be replaced?
