You dont need much in the way of gear for whittling. These are what i have. The pocket knife is a boker whittler and the others are quick and dirty homemade efforts.

I was trying of other things to whittle, it’s going to be a mouse…

I was up west coast of Scotland in a tent and van atrocious weather…

I looked at an old manor house where the Thompson family had done all the carpentry. Little mouse on the newel posts and other places. Twas a money pit……so I ran away quick!
