Chaps
Been doing a little today, sticking some plates to the floor of the track car as reinforcements for the seat mountings. Managed to blow a hole where I didn't want it, then ran out of gas, which isn't great but I had to stop for the day anyway.
I usually get a brownish powdery residue on the welds, which blows off easily, but on parts of the weld today there was a white crusty residue. There was some burning underseal around, but no paint left (flap disc prior to paint).
So is white crust due to not quite enough gas, just one of those things, or have I been doing something wrong??
