What are the best tig welding gloves opinions please folks

I'll start the bidding off with these Weldas "soft touch" gloves...

(Reverse Grain Pigskin & pigskin cuff, Kevlar sewn)

Yeah, i use 'soft touch' gloves too (goatskin flavour usually) but the ones to go for are those that fit the best- of the brands easily available they have the best fit for MY hands. Best gloves i've used were a pair of 'So Cal speed shop' gloves, no idea who made 'em but i suspect they were probably 'Tillmans'

Thinnest you can get for most stuff. You're looking for leather of similar quality/softness/thickness to a good pair of ladies gloves, but without the surface finish. Obviously there's a cost/life expectancy balance -- pigskin or kangaroo will last longer than sheepskin, but cost more, kevlar stitching will probably outlive the glove.

At a pinch, I find that rigger's gloves, although they lack the long sleeve, are acceptable, otherwise I tend to buy whatever is cheap on eBay.

i got a set of deer skin, very soft and the work great. cost 18 euro a pair.

I buy the 30 at a time option so they work out at 78p each.

They are cheap gauntlets and relatively thin leather and I find I can both Tig easily with them and also Mig. Ironically because they are not either Specialist Tig or Mig gloves I find they are an excellent compromise and very cheap. Also great to give as Christmas presents to keen gardeners.

Esab Tig gloves - last ages, very supple - I use them for mig welding as well.
About a fiver a pair - outlast any others i have used.

ok I'm the odd one out and suffer from hot hands and what's got to be bad advice I suppose, but I do like the thick silk gloves that the traffic wardens used to use when directing traffic for the rod filler hand. Little loss of the touch sensation, give surnburn protection, surprisingly burn resistant (unless you stick your finger in the weld pool).
I just cant get on with my welders gloves I keep on dropping the filler rod and squeesing the torch so tight after 5 min my hands are poop.
For my torch hand I use my old motorbike guantlet glove...no touch sensation but good dexterity.
