I buy the 30 at a time option so they work out at 78p each.
They are cheap gauntlets and relatively thin leather and I find I can both Tig easily with them and also Mig. Ironically because they are not either Specialist Tig or Mig gloves I find they are an excellent compromise and very cheap. Also great to give as Christmas presents to keen gardeners.

ok I'm the odd one out and suffer from hot hands and what's got to be bad advice I suppose, but I do like the thick silk gloves that the traffic wardens used to use when directing traffic for the rod filler hand. Little loss of the touch sensation, give surnburn protection, surprisingly burn resistant (unless you stick your finger in the weld pool).
