which tig welder to buy?

Hi Everyone

Just landed a big ali job consists of box section with a 3mm wall,Im a bit of a mig and mma man have tig welded a few times using my mates lorch but bit on the expensive side so any ideas of any other kit thats middle of the road got £1500 to spend ?????

Have you seen the Handy Tig 180 ACDC Control Pro, sure you would get one of those around your budget.

Have a look on Weldequip's shop on the forum he has got some Tecarc and Inverter Fusion on there to look at.
