Which regulator for TIG welder

Hello all,
Just bought my first tig welder, and now need a regulator.

The question; What's the difference between a Stage 1 and 2 regulator please?

They both do the same job, the only real difference is your outlet flow may increase marginally as your cylinder empties when you are using a single stage regulator, this really isn't going to present a major problem so long as you periodically check your flow rate

As long as you check it every so often a single stage regulator is more than adequate, but for best gas control double it up with a flowmeter
