Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade my hobby welder (MIG) to big gas bottles, my local motor factors stocks SGS rent free argon CO2 mix which which is what I think I'll go for.
I need to purchase a regulator and have been looking at a couple although I'm not certain which will fit the SGS bottle. SGS state the their bottles have a standard 5/8 fitting, does the orientation of the regulator matter? Other than ease of reading the gauges I don't believe it is an issue?
I've narrowed my short list down to a Wescol from weldequip
https://www.weldequip.com/argonmix-conversion-kit-se.htm
or an ebay special

Based on it being £20 cheaper (after the additional cost of the adapter hose and postage is all factored in) and that fact that learning to weld is just a hobby for me I'm favouring the ebay special that the moment, but some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Binney
