Hi Folks new to this forum and on reading past threads am now not sure which MIG to buy.
I agree with all the previous threads about wire feed stability, arc control, etc and would also add that the better welders have copper wound transformers instead of aluminium.
I do a lot of classic car work and general fabrication and until now have used gas on car bodies and borrowed a bottom of the range old BOC Mig which was not very good at all. Hence the need to buy a good new Mig.
I had decided on the SIP Autoplus range but on seeing comments about the SIP wire feed on this forum I have doubts. So what about the Sealey kit? Or are ther better manufacturers out there?
Any comments very welcome.
