Which grit size of alu oxide for home cabinet?

I just ordered Aluminium Oxide media off ebay for use in my blast cabinet, the seller wants me to tell him what grade I want. It's a DIY cabinet, suction gun, and connected to a 14 CFM compressor.

I think alu oxide is right? It's aggressive and reusable?

So far I've been using Sealey grit, which is virtually identical to JBlast Superfine, 200 - 700 microns. It works ok, but I'm told the alu oxide won't dust so much.

The available grades the seller has are:

F30 = 500-710 Microns
F60 = 212-300 Microns
F100 = 106-150 Microns

Thoughts on which grade to go for? I use the cabinet for stripping auto parts.

the same size as what u have been using if it works ok

I use the machine mart 60g. Once it's been through the gun a couple of times it softens up.

So many units of measuring media! I spoke with the supplier, supper knowledgeable, they recommended F60 but to upgrade from a 5mm to a 6mm nozzle on my suction gun. They told me I would need 20 CFM free air delivery though, which I have now with my three compressor setup.

Suction guns have 2 nozzles, an air nozzle which determines the CFM and the grit nozzle. 20cfm inside a cabinet may be a bit much, don't forget you've got to extract it and filter the exhaust as well.

Stick with what you've got and try a bag of F60. If it clogs at the nozzle try a different grit nozzle, if you can get them.
