great forum lads, only found it a few days ago. quick question. Im buying a new mig welder over the weekend, a sealey supermig 185, and im just wondering which gas do i need to get for it. it'l be used mainly for car body repairs, replacing panels an any patchs will be 0.8mm steel so its all light stuff. im used to a gasless welder so have no idea about the gas, and while im at it is 0.8mm wire suitable for that kind of work. any help appreciated.???????

0.8 will do the job but your better off with 0.6 wire and a 0.6 tip.
