But a bit surprised that the fairing was fitted too close to the pipe without just a bit more of a cutaway.

Just noticed that it has 350 coloured side plated but doesn't seem to have the reverse cone megga of a 40 m.
Also the clip on the Megga /pipe joint should be at180 degrees with the screw above the pipe .

Suspect it has been rebuilt with a replacement fairing by someone with less attention to detail than Mr Beart.

As a non motorcyclist (we don't want your sort around here) I would say silver, or chrome finish paint ........ which does look more like polished alloy, with black detail, or black tank with silver or white detail.

Have to be careful with the paint and modern fuels though. Epoxy probably.
