Which Clarke mig

I'm pretty close to buying my first mig but I'd like some input as to which welder I should go for. I've got my choice down to these two machines on my limited budget:

I was recommended the 110e by a friend who owns and uses one, I'm going to be doing thin metal car body work and I want to use gas. I like the lower settings these machines have and i understand that I'll need a better regulator and bottle to make gas use more affordable.

Obviously the maximum setting if you are never going to need it is irrelevant, however once you have a welding set it often happens that you find work for it and not to have enough power soon becomes annoying.

I have the Clarke 135 and find it manages 90% of my hobby projects, my MMA set does the rest.

If you are sure you have no need for anything more powerful then those sets will do you fine.

Don't forget the big saving a VAT free voucher will give, there were some on offer on the forum last week and they crop up on a regular basis, nothing stopping you asking the members if they have one going spare.

If you go the "Machine Mart" route then put out a request for one of there "VAT free" vouchers form a member as that saves you 20% on Clarke machine from MM

Thanks for the input, I see the point re lacking power for thicker material. On balance i think that the 110e is probably the one for me
