which bottle for which gauge!!!!

Hello All,

I am new to mig welding but not bad with arc, I have both types but am yet to use the Mig.

I understand that my mig is gasless at the moment, with the 4 mm gas line in place, I do intend to use gas however I have no idea which gauge to get then which bottle fits the gauge or will I need to spend more on adaptors for different bottles.

can anyone give good sound full advise on which gauge fits what bottles (both refill and disposable)?

As a total new comer to gas welding I have no idea on any technical terms for connections so please for now can you give it in terms that a total novice will understand.

it seems to me that Co2 is the easiest to get hold of, so I think Co2

iirc c02 regulater has female end where attaches to cylinder others have male & disposable is same as they are just cheap screw on things

I will be welding on car sills, on my own car, I have been told that arc is a little to aggressive for this and I would probably end up with burn holes all over the place.
Before I tackle the sills I will be practising on some old car bits and bobs that are scrap. I don't plan on jumping straight in and relying on my arc skills.
