Mate of mine is reliving his youth modifying one. If tyre size is a problem how about a Sunbeam S7?

That looks well nice. What sort of work has he done modifying/restoring it.

The GT250 was a basket case and only worth breaking so he is doing a Cafe Racer along the lines of the original he had back in the early 80's but with a few modern parts thrown in. He's had some handmade expansion chambers made that tuck under the frame and look quite trick from these people, there's a set on the yellow RD400 near the bottom of their homepage.
