Where to purchase a Mig gas bottle

Hello to you all.

Does any body know where I can purchase a waist high gas bottle for a mig welder? I don't want to rent one because I am likely to do small amounts of welding and would rather just own one and get it refilled when it runs out. I'm based in Brighton but can collect from anywhere near the south coast.

I got my argon bottle (TIG) from here http://*removed for legal reasons*.co.uk/shop/ by paying a refundable deposit (as far as I can tell) it's a one off payment and I just pay for refills. I used to have a few pub bottles for CO2 and got them filled through a mate at a fire extinguisher place but that eventually dried up and the bottles went out of test. I suspect not many places will fill unknown bottles now. You will probably have someone similar locally to you.

Google Adams Gas, they are another rent free company, they are in Margate, but have a dealership network. A lot depends who is local to you when you need a refill.

Just be aware on some of the rent free deals you pay a (say) £55 deposit, but if you take it back or swap for a bigger bottle you only get £40 back.

I use rent free and the deposit is returned in full
