Where to get oil based enamel paint?

I have used the rustoleom type paint on rusty chassis of truck, lasted years and no rust came through,great finish and lasts also used teckaloid,sprayed it on cab, again I would recomend either.

If you are roller painting why not use 2k direct gloss? A much better paint and can be flatted back if required.
Oil based enamel stays soft for weeks and is a potential reaction problem. I'd never use it again.

Pics of the job I sprayed with Tractol yesterday.

I didn't do any great amount of prep, and didn't flat the primer before spraying the top coat - it is just some workshop equipment, after all!

Spraying was done with a cheapo £20 Silverline gun from Toolstation.

Now I'm wishing I had't been too lazy to separate the hopper from the tub yesterday, as masking will be a pain to do the top panel (it was sat upside-down yesterday), but I'm pretty pleased so far.

Also happy with the new legs and castors, so the whole thing should be at a better height for a short-**** like me once it's finished

I'm only going by what I've seen and read on the various how to guides. I've never heard of 2k direct gloss but I'll look into it. Most of the guides I've looked at have shown the oil based enamel being sanded back after every 2nd coat, with about 8 coats being applied in total. The results look pretty impressive although as a first timer I'm not saying my effort will be as good...
