where to get 12mm plate

wheres best place to get pce of 12mm plate approx 1'x2.5'?
got a 2nd hand drill press but its got no table with it

Try seller steel2go on ebay. Not the cheapest way to buy steel plate but very convenient when the postie brings it!

I received a 12mm thick 150mm x 200 mm chunk from them today for a jig I'm making - saves all the tramping around

search ebay for offcuts or find a local fabricator, but be plenty in w.yorks

you may not get exactly whay you want but will get something suitable

There's no decent bits of 12mm cos i was after some today. Probably 10mm? I remember seeing a big piece of 25mm plate about that size?...

lol could do with a chunk of inch plate about that big! I usually get mine from a mate who owns a fab shop.
