Where to buy consumables

I'm new to this board and to welding in general so don't shoot me down in flames for asking a silly question. I'm sure the answer is already somewhere here on this site - I just need somebody to wind me up, point me in the right direction and let me go....

I'm looking for a good supplier of welding consumables & accessories. I live in Bedfordshire - half way between Bedford & Cambridge. Can Somebody recommend anything? Maybe a mail-order or internet store is best?
