Hi, I'm putting an older Nissan back on the road, most bits are sorted now (including the micro-bore jets in the carb)..
One problem is the seal around the accelerator pump shaft is leaking.
Ideally I just need a new seal but the budget might run to a full rebuild kit depending on the price...
A spare carb I picked up isn't a lot better than the original and the problem seal is shot on both carbs
Does anyone have details for suppliers who stock classic Nissan parts?
The part I'm looking for is the seal / bellows in the middle of the photo...
footnote - cleaning the jets was "fun", I stripped the carbs twice but couldn't get either to tick over.
Eventually found a sub-micro drilling in a jet so tiny I thought it was a blank casting mark, I had to use a set of jewellers micro drills that I've had for years as they were the only thing I had that was small enough to probe the drilling.
