I do find things do fetch good money on eBay, But that's got to be a mistake
It's NLA on Screwfix.
I *think* the £159 was a "clearance price", the RRP was nearer £250 IIRC.
the nearest equivalent would be 320 from Toolstation.
So it's *slightly* cheaper.
Nuts. There a bargain at 159 I've had twoCan you believe the nutters who bid on EBay? This is available brand new from Screwfix for £159.99. Yet they bid it up to £310.00. I think i’ll Buy a few and put them up and see what happens.
Currently flight sim joysticks are fetching silly money as there's no stock anywhereI watched its progress and couldn't believe it but I've noticed the same trend with low end planers over the past year. Everyone I was tempted to bid on soared to silly money. I bet non of the bidders were members of the Mig-Welding forum.![]()
#I was watching a couple of identical British "Full Use" vices on the bay this week. One was on auction and the other, buy it now. The one on auction went for over £10.oo more than the one for the buy it now price, including postage.![]()

Never thought about it that way, but yeah, I suppose there are some who do.#
Do you know there are people who bid on things just to win them whatever the cost. It's a form of gambling addiction apparently...………………………………………….
Ive seen cars that were perfectly clean and tidy not sell , then the guy selling them hit the front wing and light off a tree , and the same car , at the same price advertised as a fixer upper , / project , not recorded insurance claim etc etc ., fly off the fore court ......... hard to believe , but true.
