Where can I get Esab TIGrod 19.30 in UK?

As per title - I've been recommended to get some for brazing threads on a S/Steel fuel rail so they can be re-cut, I can't find any available in UK, well, not any online suppliers anyway. Fallback would probably be SIF No.8 - R-Tech want an outrageous amount spare kidney for a kilo, anyone know of an online or *shudder* somewhere I can phone to get a Kilo or so?

ESAB don't sell by the kilo I'm afraid.

19.30 is just CuSi brazing Wire.

You can buy SIF in small packs. SIF isn't great but for a one off job.

It's a one-off but sort of expensive - the fuel rail is ~£1k, the tech that didn't read the spec. of 27Nm torque will be paying for the rods.... Luckily (for him) I already have an M15 x 1.0 Die.

Love to... the rule is the tech pays up to £50, after that, the Co. pays - with all the faff of justification, receipts etc. etc. although one did get the long walk of shame for unbolting a rear diff. then changing his mind as to where the noise was coming from but forgot to nip the bolts up again....

Just get the Sif rods, nowt wrong with them, absolutely fine. The alu bronze TIG brazing rods they do are awesome.

I'd say the ESAB welds nicer having run both.

SIF is cheap Chinese. I returned some rods the other week, they were unusable.

I'm going to have to restock my silicon bronze TIG rods soon... I want 1.6mm x 1000mm lengths... Just realised the stuff I thought was SIFbronze for the last few years is actually spurious off ebay All i know is that it's silicon bronze and suitable for TIG brazing copper alloys and steel.

I only want another 1kg, I think it's C9 (SIF No.968) that I need. All the ebay and amazon sellers are selling 300mm lengths, absolute utter bl**dy rip off, what use is 300mm

Who sells this stuff? And what alternatives are there?
